*Executive Director – Nathan Woodmansee

Sand Springs Community Services is excited to have Nathan Woodmansee as their Executive Director. Nathan comes to SSCS with a twenty year professional background in sales and marketing and ministry. A Charles Page High School honor graduate, Nathan and his wife, Kristina (a local elementary school teacher) returned to Sand Springs after college to raise their family. Nathan and Kristina have three school-aged children who are also proud Sandites.

Nathan has a bachelor’s degree from Williams Baptist College (Walnut Ridge, AR) and attended graduate school at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. Nathan comes to SSCS most recently from nearly 7 years of service as an Associate Minister at Osage Hills Christian Church in Tulsa, where his ministry activities frequently included volunteering with Sand Springs Community Services.

Prior to full time ministry, Nathan worked for Fortune100 company, Lockheed Martin and continued in sales and marketing after Lockheed with a local ad specialties and marketing group, and then as the sales manager for a local construction materials supplier. As SSCS director, Nathan hopes to draw from his professional experiences to further the near 90 year success of Sand Springs Community Services by igniting a continuing commitment among the various churches, service organizations, and other community groups to serve Sand Springs’ most vulnerable people. Drop by the agency to welcome Nathan!

Larry Mullins

Larry is the SSCS Client Services Manager.  He works with Clients through the intake process, makes referrals, and assists families through the action steps of their Family Action Plan.  After graduating from Charles Page High School in 1961, Larry received his Bachelor of Science Degree in business in 1967 from The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Over most of his career, Larry’s primary responsibility was to develop new business for some of the largest companies in their industry segments. From introducing new products nationally to providing custom stainless kitchens, Larry worked with the executives of most of the top twenty foodservice companies. Larry’s job required extensive travel nationally and, on a limited basis, internationally.

After retiring, Larry and his wife, Patty (Lawrence), moved back to Sand Springs. He had been searching for an opportunity to help those in need and found it with Sand Springs Community Services, first as a volunteer and then as a Client Service Specialist.  Larry became a full-time staff member of SSCS in September, 2014.

Larry states, “My desire is that Sand Springs Community Services will be able to expand client services in ways that provide assistance on a broader scale to those with specialized needs.”
