Who is Sand Springs Community Services?
In a nutshell….We are “here to help” in time of crisis!
We are a not-for-profit agency founded for the purposes of providing temporary assistance to persons in a crises situation. On October 4, 1982, the agency applied for and was granted a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and is currently funded through donations from individuals, churches, and civic organizations and through major gifts or grants from the following:
- Tulsa Area United Way
- Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
- Williams
- FEMA
- Cox Communications
- Sand Springs Rotary
- Wal-Mart
- Area Faith Based Organizations
- Area Schools

Our mission is to connect and empower. We assist Sand Springs area residents experiencing economic crisis by moving families forward towards self-sufficiency.
Our Vision
To end the continuing cycle of generational poverty in our community and reduce the occurrence of situational poverty.
